Our organization is taking a proactive and preventative approach to assist with the statewide efforts to decrease the exposure and community transmission of COVID-19. Effective immediately, all in-person SIRP and PRIME classes are postponed until further notice. For information about virtual classes, contact Holly Kiidli at hkiidli@adcareme.org.
This evidence-based education program is available to youth (13-18 years) experimenting with alcohol, marijuana, and other drugs. A youth, parent, teacher, administrator, probation officer, or other community members can refer an individual. Youth also have the ability to self-refer.
Why sign up and complete the class?
- Learn valuable information about the effects of alcohol and other drugs on the body and brain.
- Participate in activities and watch videos that help participants understand the risk of addiction and how to avoid it.
- It is not a lecture. It is a conversation. Participants decide for themselves what they are going to do next, after the class.
- The class provides information that can help participants identify and learn ways to protect what they value in life, and learn how alcohol and other drugs can threaten those values.
